Think about it, Mario Kart 7 and SSF4 had internet, but is there a Nintendo Network logo anywhere in the games or stated on the box/instruction manual? No. It just says "Internet". Both of those games are also unable to receive DLC. So in short, Nintendo Network probably means you can get DLC for any game that uses it.
